for the 27204739th time. im going absolutely crazy over the cover for vol 37 and had to make this to make it my lockscreen

to celebrate the second half of season six and my some of my favorite scenes coming up, heres some coloring i did of the cover for ch 317!!
this whole upcoming arc is one of my all time favorites i think and edgy dark izuku will never not be super cool to me (even if he makes me really sad) and ive seen some people do these so!! i wanted to try it and WOW i had a lot of fun :D i went through and redid the lines to make them super sharp and can i just say that i am so in love with horikoshis art. like ive said it before and ill say it over and over again but i just want to absorb his art so bad . yeah anyways i hope yall like it!! im planning to do at least a few more!! maybe of a whole scene that i might be in love with. we’ll see

I'm sorry, I just couldn't suffer alone anymore! When he said it I was like "WHY WOULD YOU SPEAK THAT OUTLOUD!" he pointed out that I hurt him first by having him read Divergent but I feel like that's besides the point. This is Izuku we're talking about!
If it makes you feel any better though, I don't think Horikoshi would do that. Simply because of how much he loves Izuku's character. Izuku's base was recycled from one of Horikoshi's first series that tanked hard. He said in an interview somewhere (I'll try to find the link) that he wanted to "give him another chance" basically. So to hurt us, he's gotta be willing to hurt not just his creation but also himself. But who knows 🤷 ðŸ˜
this makes me feel Mildly Comforted but at the same time ,,, i dunno horikoshi seems to really enjoy making his favorite characters suffer ?? *cough* katsuki *cough* but lets hope he doesnt actually go that far or i might cry

I woke up thinking about vestige Katsuki casually having a chat with vestige All Might. WHAT THE DUCK was happening there if not something seriously fruity and why did we not circle back to it once we’d got over the fact that his heart had exploded?!
What must non-bkdks think is going on? I’m not even sure if we’ve fully discussed what is going on? Whyyy would he have a vestige if he doesn’t have OFA?
It’s not ghosts because a) ghosts haven’t been introduced as a concept in-universe and b) AM is there and he ain’t dead.
SO WHAT IS HAPPENING? Did we just totally overlook the fact that Hori made it canon that Katsuki either has OFA or just has access to the vestige realm for reasons unknown?
Also why is he fully clothed and able to speak, when poor Izuku spent every vestige scene nude and mute? And why is the background white not black? Vestige purgatory? A vestige waiting room?
I feel like when you suddenly realise you haven’t studied and the class has all moved on to new topics and you’ve somehow missed a key, fundamental part of how The Whole Thing works.

Can’t get over the fact that in future bkdk settings if Izuku put his hand out to Katsuki, that man would with no hesitation immediately take it. Without even looking. Like. Hand-holding spidey senses. How cool is that??? Maybe it’s just me but this knowledge has my pathetic little brain by the throat.
